How we look after your details

This page explains, in plain words, what Velvet Tantric Massage ("we", "us") keeps about you when you use this website, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we keep

Only what you give us:

• When you book: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, the treatment and time you chose, and any note you add.
• When you use the chat on this site: the messages you send and the answers you get, and the name and phone number you type in to start.
• When you use the contact form: your name, how to reach you and your message.
• When you apply to join us: the details, and any photograph or document, you send.
• When you visit: the usual technical record every website keeps, such as the time and the page asked for.

We never ask for card or bank details on this website.

Why we keep it

To hold and confirm your appointment, to answer you, to look at an application, and to run the studio properly. We use it for nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to send you offers you have not asked for.

Who sees it

The people who run the studio, and the masseuse you booked. The studio is told about new bookings and messages by alerts to a private messaging app and by email, so your details pass through those services for that purpose only. Our website is looked after by a hosting company, which stores it for us. We share your details with anyone else only if the law requires us to.

Cookies and similar things

The chat remembers your chat and the name and number you typed in your own browser, so you do not have to type them again. Clearing the site data in your browser removes them. We do not use advertising cookies. We may use Google Analytics to count how many people visit and which pages they read; if it is switched on it uses cookies and Google receives your visit. The website's fonts are loaded from Google, which means Google can see that your browser asked for them.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it for your appointments and our records, and then we delete it. If you would like it deleted sooner, ask us.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to limit how we use it, or to object to how we use it. You can also ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. To ask, contact the studio using the details in the footer of this page, or through the chat. We will answer within one month.

Changes

If we change this page we will change the date at the top.
